I am a 32 year old female and I have had diabetes for jut over 10 years now. I am starting to get compications with nerve damage or that is what the doctor tells me. I am experiencing some uncomfortable pain in my legs that is causing me to have some sleeping issues as it is hard to get comfy. I have been to the doctors more than enough over the pain and he tells me that there is nothing more that he can do for me but it is getting harder and harder to live life like this. There has to be more out there that can be done to make he pain either easier to live with or something else has to give. I am not sure at this point as to where I turn to get the right help that I need. If someone could please tell me where to go to get the right kind of help that would be really great. I am thinking about getting a new doctor as everything that I see him about all I hear is that it is my diabetes and I am really getting tired of hearing that instead of helping me. I take insulin shots and I am still having issues with keeping my levels down.
