Join author Bob Rintoul as he signs copies of "No Apologies, No Regrets" on Tuesday January 19th from 11am -1pm at the University of Calgary Foothills Campus
Bob and Nola Rintoul have an endowed chair in Bone and Joint Research – Southern Alberta, University of Calgary.Bob Rintoul was born into depression-era Alberta and grew to become one of the province’s successful businessmen through his company, Ace Explosives.
In No Apologies, No Regrets, Rintoul, a born storyteller, gives an inspired account of his life: a rollicking tale of hard work, sheer determination, novel ideas, and holding fast to what matters in life.
Rintoul says he has thought about writing a book chronicling his life in Alberta since the 1960's. “I was prompted to write a book about my life by business associates such as lawyers and accountants among others. They felt it had historical content about early oil exploration that otherwise could be lost and they found my antidotes humorous.”
Rintoul will be at the University of Calgary – Foothills Campus for a book signing on Tuesday January 19th from 11am -1pm. Books can be purchased at the signing but are also available in advance at the medical bookstore. He will be signing copies of the book at the south end of the HRIC Atrium, by the food services of "On the Go"
Book production costs have been paid by the author and all sale proceeds are being donated to the Bob and Nola Rintoul endowed chair in Bone and Joint Research – Southern Alberta, University of Calgary.
The book is also available at Thomas Jeffrey Men’s Wear in Scotia Centre
and South Centre Mall, The Glenbow Museum Shop, Fort Calgary, Heritage Park and the University of Calgary bookstore.
