Dr.  Philip M. Sherman, MD '77 (a Toad), received the 2010 Shwachman Award, presented by the Amerian Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition. The Shwachman Award recognizs lifelong scientific or educational contributions to paediatric gastroenterology, hepatology or nutrition. Dr. Sherman is a paediatrician at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
