 Start: Meeting at the screen area in the Libin Theatre

Introduction / Perspective of this walk / Discussion of historical photographs

HMRB: The Medical Heritage Research Building as a milestone in the Calgary medical research activities - its origin and context in the Alberta Heritage Foundation

HRIC Atrium: The three most recent new buildings: HRIC, TRW and McCaig - Discussion of the historical expansion of the Faculty

Old HSC:  Health Sciences Centre and historical diversification of educational programs

Atrium:  Reflections at the Hippocrates statue:  Between family practice and medical research

Foothills Entrance Area: The Faculty of Medicine opens / Body systems learning and practical-skills approach/TheMedical School on the top floors of the Foothills Hospital / Calgary Winter Olympics

Walk across 29th Street NW : Reflections on the community involvement during the building phase / How the Foothills Hospital complex was perceived from "the other side" / Historical changes in the community structure across the road.

Return "engroupe" to the Libin Theatre in the HMRB (an outside promenade during goodweather).
